My blog is about original content, not circulating what’s already zipping through the social media avenues. But once in a while a story that comes across is so moving, thought-provoking, and amazing, that I just can’t resist.
Don’t we all sometimes feel locked inside with no ability to express ourselves? Autism is a very extreme form of a common human condition. There’s a lot to learn from it.
I think that this story is as much about the parents as it is about Carly. And maybe it’s also about how technology, computers, can help those of us who can not speak well, break through and reveal themselves to the world. But beyond the medical implications, it’s a story about the profound bond between parents and children, and about love.
